Bay Harbor Community Scholarship

Started by the Bay Harbor Foundation in 2004 as the Bay Harbor Foundation Scholars Program, the Bay Harbor Foundation gifted its scholarship funds to North Central Michigan College Foundation in 2024 to create the Bay Harbor Community Endowment, which would continue to fund annual scholarships for employees and relatives of employees working in the Bay Harbor Community as well as other Emmet County residents.

Preference for this scholarship will go to Bay Harbor employees working a minimum of 350 summer hours, or their family members, however any Emmet County student may be eligible for this award.

  2. By selecting "Yes," you are confirming that you have worked, or plan to work) a minimum of 350 hours this summer in the Bay Harbor community.
  3. Please provide at least one letter of recommendation from an employer, counselor, professor, long-time friend, or Bay Harbor resident who knows you well. A second letter of recommendation is not required but is strongly encouraged. The name and contact information for each author must appear on the letter.
