Vivian and Reginald Sharkey Memorial Scholarship

The Vivian and Reginald Sharkey Memorial Scholarship aims to help students studying journalism, and with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students must be residing in Emmet or Charlevoix county and have successfully completed two academic semesters. Preference is given to students studying journalism or who are interested in a writting career. If no such students apply, the recipient must be enrolled in a Liberal Arts or Sciences program. Financial need can be used to prioritize applicants, but is not a requirement for the scholarship.
